We need your help to continue this important work of creating a more diverse, equitable and accessible AI future for everyone through our various programmes across Research, Education and Events.

We’re also tackling the gigantic project of creating the very first diverse AI dataset that contains images of people and cultures who do not currently exist on any AI system or dataset. As it stands, one-third of the world’s population (2.6B people) do not have access to the internet and are not represented in any AI applications or datasets. These people and cultures are at risk of cultural erasure and ultimately human extinction. We’re setting an example and revamping dataset development by working directly with the communities involved where they’d be compensated and receive ongoing financial support for their participation.
