About Tayo

Tayo Adesanya is the founder and CEO of Lola Vision Systems, an AI & ML semiconductor company focused on computer vision custom chip design for electric vehicles. Tayo is an Electrical Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the high-tech electronics industry. He has a history for growing top line revenue for industry-leading semiconductor companies in the consumer, industrial and automotive sectors. Tayo received his Electrical Engineering degree from Purdue University and has an M.B.A. from Arizona State University. 

His long professional career has landed him roles like: 

  1. Product Solution Sales Manager at Synopsys Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS) leading the ARC Processor and Security IP Sales support across North America. During his time, he assumed the Automotive Business Development lead role supporting Electric Vehicle OEMs with custom chip design requirements. Synopsys generates over $5 Billion in revenue per year selling EDA tools, IP & Chip Design Services.

  2. Strategic Sales Engineering positions at SiFive (recently raised $175M at $2.5B val), Microchip Technology (NASDAQ: MCHP) and ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ON). 

He is also the founder of Agbara Life Inc., a fashion forward wearable technology benefit corporation focused on helping kids become inspired to pursue STEM careers. 

Further, Tayo's expertise includes security IP that is utilized by some of the same cryptography algorithms found to empower certain Blockchain technologies. His knowledge has allowed him to advise and educate how Web2 and Web3 (including blockchain technologies) can be leveraged in applications to create meaningful and sustainable impact.

While technology is his passion he's had a distinguished career as a NCAA Track & Field All-American, Nigerian National High Jump Champion and Big Ten Conference Champion. He is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He pursued his passion for the semiconductor industry despite having the opportunity to run track & field and play basketball professionally.
