About Esma

As the CEO and Founder of AffectiveHalo.ai, Esma Mansouri is committed to developing trustworthy affective and human-centric AI applications for healthcare, with a particular emphasis on dementia care. Previously, she served as the Principal Researcher at Fujitsu Research Europe, working on the creation of explainable AI models with medical applications.  Her earlier role as a Senior Research Fellow and Data Scientist at the Health Informatics Centre involved researching on early prediction of dementia, where she researched, designed algorithms, and presented findings at scientific conferences. 

Additionally, she contributed significantly to AI ethics and disclosure control, collaborating with various health institutions. Before her leadership roles, Esma made impactful contributions as a Lead Programmer and Data Scientist in the Neuroscience of Language Lab at New York University, developing algorithms for statistical data analysis in neuroscience research and designing innovative frameworks for MEG and EEG data processing.
